Nicole Myers grew up in Miami, Florida
where she developed a passion for art, writing, culture and travel.
Nicole's passions brought her to Santiago, Chile in the early 80's
where she worked as a photographer and journalist. She eventually
returned to the US and opened a graphic design studio in San Francisco
working with some of the finest illustrators in the US. In the early
90's her work brought her to New York City where she founded Myers
Creative Services, a graphic design firm.
At the same time, she has been an active voice for the harmony
among cultures and in 1995 founded a non-profit organization, the
Center of Cultures. Nicole has traveled to over 45 countries, speaking
on behalf of cultural diversity, and promoting cross-cultural understanding.
In her travels she met many of the artists represented here and
became inspired and passionate about their work. She became excited
about the possibility of providing a venue to show the original
and beautiful messages that these artists have to contribute.
Myers looks for works that are contemporary and universal; simultaneoulsy,
she is drawn to works that manifest the hidden strength and wisdom
of ancestral times. Styles can be either representational or abstract,
but the materials are fundamental and the masterful work of the
creation timeless.
